We make granola with five big flavors:

Our newest delight -- celebrating the Griswold Inn in Essex, we have devised a granola with a revolutionary flavor worthy of the history of 'The Gris'. Barley malt, golden flax seeds, local cornmeal, sliced almonds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon and nutmeg are balanced by the tang of chopped apricots and dried cherries.
The original recipe. The one that got us going, it’s been refined and perfected over 15 years. We’ve called it “the best granola there is”, and hundreds of delighted granola fans agree. Rolled oats, wheat germ, oat bran, almonds, hazelnuts, sunflower seeds, local wildflower honey from Hannan Honey in Southbury CT, molasses, and cinnamon all contribute to a rich, complex, deep-toasted flavor. Of course, now we have two other blends that may be just as good, so Rex may have to share its title.
New England-themed, with more of the flavors we love. We start with our base of rolled oats, wheat germ and oat bran, add Connecticut maple syrup and cranberry juice, and round it out with walnuts, cranberries and a hint of nutmeg. Lightly toasted, it has an aroma of maple, fruit, grains and nutmeg, and tastes just as good.
It’s harvest time, baby! Pumpkin lovers, this is the granola for you. Rolled oats, wheat germ, oat bran and sunflower seeds are joined by honey and a touch of molasses. Then we add real pumpkin puree, pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin pie spice and bake until it’s perfectly toasted. This is a seasonal variety, available fall through early spring.

Another masterpiece. This granola has applesauce from
Bishop's Orchards baked right in, along with sliced almonds, pecans, golden raisins, cranberries, local honey and a hearty blend of spices with a note of cardamom. It's your new favorite!
